Maybe you’ve heard that General Motors has developed a proprietary engine oil specification called dexos™.  What it means to you is that if you have a new GM car, you will need to pay attention to what your mechanic uses when he changes your oil.  The dexos standard calls for a full synthetic oil, such as Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic (available at Gatto’s, naturally!) to reduce engine wear and get you better gas mileage.
